only learning an instrument, you are also training
your brain to learn other things faster and paving
the way to pick up any other instrument and being able
to teach yourself that as well.
Being
able to play an instrument is not only FUN (especially being able to do something not everyone else can) but it's therapeutic as well. Listening to music is good but playing it yourself is so much more satisfying.
